As women, we’re often expected to embrace the changes in our bodies with grace, but when it comes to perimenopause and menopause, that’s easier said than done. For many of us, this phase of life can feel like a rollercoaster—physically, emotionally, and mentally. What makes it even harder? The stigma and silence that often surround this completely natural phase of life.
Hi, I’m Jen Weinstein, a personal trainer and nutrition coach who’s not just helping women navigate perimenopause and menopause—I’m living through it myself. Like many of you, I didn’t always know what to expect or how to handle the challenges that came with it. But through my own health journey, during which I lost 70 pounds and reclaimed my energy, I’ve discovered how to embrace this phase of life with strength, confidence, and joy.
I became a coach because I didn’t have a guide when I started my own journey. I felt stuck—frustrated with my body, unsure of how to make changes that would last, and overwhelmed by the mixed messages surrounding health and fitness for women over 40. Now, my mission is to be the guide I didn’t have, helping other women unlock their potential and feel amazing in their skin again.
Perimenopause and menopause don’t have to mean weight gain, fatigue, or feeling “less than.” With the right approach to nutrition and strength training, it’s possible to not only maintain your weight but also feel stronger, healthier, and more vibrant than ever before.
One of the most common misconceptions about this phase of life is that it’s too late to build strength or make meaningful changes to your body. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Strength training is incredibly beneficial for women in perimenopause and menopause—not just for maintaining muscle mass and boosting metabolism, but also for improving mood, reducing symptoms like hot flashes, and increasing bone density.
Too often, perimenopause and menopause are treated as something we should endure quietly, without much discussion. But I’m here to change that. By openly addressing the challenges, and more importantly, the opportunities that come with this stage of life, we can break down the stigma and embrace a healthier, more empowered way of living.
If you’re ready to take control of your health, lose weight, gain strength, and feel like yourself again, I’m here to help. This isn’t just about hitting a number on the scale—it’s about creating lasting, sustainable habits that will help you thrive during perimenopause, menopause, and beyond.
Join me on this journey, and together, we can redefine what it means to live your best life in this transformative chapter.
